PFRON – State Fund for the Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons has begun recruiting for the "Assistance to disabled people affected by natural disasters or crises caused by infectious diseases" program. The program aims to support people with disabilities who have suffered as a result of flooding.
The program is targeted at those affected by the natural disaster:
- persons with disabilities who have a valid disability certificate (or equivalent);
- children and young people with disabilities who have a valid disability certificate issued before the age of 16, residing in areas affected by the natural disaster in 2024 and who have been granted benefits in connection with losses incurred in their household.
What kind of help can you receive?
- One-off benefit of up to PLN 2,000.00 for social rehabilitation;
- one-off benefits to compensate for losses incurred and/or to cover the costs of repairs (of equipment, device).
This is an important initiative aimed at providing support in difficult situations.
