About the network
The Nationwide Network of Hemp Tourism was established in 2022.
It brings together individuals and entities from all over the country involved in social tourism and those responsible for implementing and carrying out various forms of respite care for people with disabilities and their families.
The network was created on the initiative of NGOs, is cross-sectoral in nature and invites people representing ngo's, public and private entities.
What was the purpose of the National Network of Hemp Tourism?
The overarching goal of the network is to develop respite services in the tourism sector by increasing access to active forms of respite care, building awareness of the need to develop respite tourism offerings, and increasing access for broad segments of society in such offerings.
The network is intended to strengthen individuals and entities working in this area through the exchange of experience, initiation of cooperation and active dialogue inside and outside the network. We invite you to undertake advocacy activities on issues that we jointly consider key to developing active forms of respite care in Poland.
We achieve our goals through:
- Organizing conferences, workshops and meetings
- Creating strategies for the development of respite tourism
- Creating a model of authorship
- Recommendations for legal changes (national, local laws)
- Actively participate in public consultations and committee work at various levels
- Implementation of social campaigns and promotion of good practices
What does network participation consist of?
Participation in the network is voluntary. Meetings of the network are held several times a year in a stationary or online format. They serve to present the most interesting practices, initiate cooperation, discuss current topics, and plan joint advocacy activities.
As part of the network's activities, study visits are also organized, where we visit places where interesting initiatives related to tourism and active respite care for people with disabilities are being implemented.

You can join the network by completing the application form and submitting a completed membership declaration.
