Lower Silesia without barriers – 200 tourist routes for people with disabilities, seniors and families with children

We encourage you to download and read the tourist guide "Lower Silesia without barriers - 200 tourist routes for people with disabilities, seniors and families with children".

This publication showcases the places, routes, and tourist attractions of the Lower Silesian region. The guide aims to inspire and encourage active recreation, social participation, and integration along the tourist trail.

For various reasons, primarily related to mobility and fitness, people with reduced physical fitness cannot always reach all destinations. Because the concept of a person with a disability is very broad and encompasses many disabilities, the authors of this publication have strived to develop routes with a specific focus on four groups (wheelchair users, eye users, ear users, and those for whom a curb without a ramp or a steep incline is a barrier). The routes provided have been verified in the field, and it can be said that if a wheelchair user can manage, so can people with other disabilities.

When creating this guide, the authors also considered seniors, who, due to their age, are generally less able to function. They want this publication to allow them to enjoy the benefits of tourism in Lower Silesia. This guide is also aimed at families with children.

Let this be an inspiration for physical activity and outdoor recreation for all those whose health does not allow for great effort and performance in extreme conditions, but who still want to enjoy the charms of nature. Welcome to Lower Silesia – without barriers!
